Liam Walker’s Greek deal falls through; scores for San Roque last night

Liam Walker’s proposed move to a Greek team seems to have fallen through, as last night he was playing for old club San Roque in a friendly against Scottish team Dundee United.

Liam, who had seemed set to potentially join Aris Thessaloniki, was a surprise starter for San Roque. However, he dominated the game, and got himself on to the scoresheet.

It was also revealed that a couple if days ago, Liam turned up at Dundee United’s training camp in San Roque, looking for a trial. He was turned down though, which may have motivated him to play for San Roque against the Scottish outfit.

San Roque went on to win 3-1 in a game marred by a referee who, by all accounts, made very odd decisions, including sending off a man from both teams in a ‘friendly’ match.
