Lions FC taking part in Alcala friendly trophy

Starting tonight, Lions FC will be one of four teams in the Alcala trophy, a friendly tournament held in Alcala de los Gazules.

 

At 9:30 pm, Lions will face hosts Novo Gazul 2012, who play in the Segunda Provincial de Cadiz league.

 

There are two other teams in the competition, who face each other in the other semi final at 7:30pm.  Barbate CF, who are based in Barbate, Cadiz, play in the Regional Preferente de Cadiz league, the 6th tier of Spanish football.

 

The other team is CD Atletico de Torrecera, based in Torrecera, Jerez de la Frontera, who play in the Primera Provincial de Cadiz league.

 

The winners will play in the final tomorrow, kicking off at 9:30pm.

  2. Have the league formats and teams for next season been released yet? I’m assuming the league will start earlier than last season!

    • The final date for registering teams has passed the other day, so news should be out soon on league structures, and hopefully fixtures.

      I’d imagine the season will start in October, as is the normal start date.
