GFA release statement regarding spitting allegations

After allegations from the coach of the Jersey national team, Craig Culkin, that players of the Gibraltar team spat at Jersey players during Saturday’s FA International Challenge Shield Final, the GFA have released a statement on the matter.

The GFA have said that it “condemns spitting as a grossly unsporting act and will take severe disciplinary action against any Gibraltar player(s) found guilty of spitting on an opposition player.”
