As I tweeted recently, the 2nd division club Llanito World have reportedly withdrawn from active competition.
The legitimacy of the claim is yet to be confirmed, nor has any reason been given as to why they may have withdrawn, but it isn’t unusual for this to happen, and it wouldn’t be a surprise in this case for the team who were 2nd bottom in the Second Division. They have also conceded 86 goals in 19 games, which is quite the ‘achievement’.
Nothing has been posted about the matter on the GFA website, although that doesn’t really mean a lot to be honest.
